DescriptionÂ
The Brittany Miller Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity formed in the fall of 1995 to provide financial assistance to families from the Hudson Valley who have children undergoing long-term medical treatment for cancer. This is a great need in our community and the Brittany Miller Foundation is here to help fill that need. The funds raised will be used for "hidden" costs, including hotels, restaurants, tolls, gasoline and other misc expenses incurred by families whose children must travel to hospitals and other facilities for frequent treatments.
The Foundation serves the New York counties of Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, and Pike County PA. Specifically, these funds are used in treatment centers and cancer facilities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or elsewhere as is approved by the majority vote of the Board of Directors.Â
Given the nature of the Foundation, every little penny counts and make make a difference.
How we are helping?
Johnstons Subaru is donating $25 for every car that was purchased in June 2014 to the Brittany Miller Foundation.
On July 14th, Johnstons Subaru presented the Charity of the Month check to the Brittany Miller Foundation during the 2014 Annual Johnstons Toyota Open. The weather held out as the players took the green and played for a great cause!Â
